The investment for the large-scale project, the implementation of which has involved about 1000 of staff, is worth about BGN 5 million. Half of the funds will be secured by the government, more specifically the Ministry of Physical Education and Sport. The rest of the resources will be provided by the event major sponsors – Audi, Milka, Generali, First Investment Bank. Bansko Municipality will also make a financial contribution to the event.

Tickets will go on sale as of 1 February, priced BGN 35 for adults (one-day ticket) and BGN 55 for the two-day starts. A price reduction is also offered for children and school students of BGN 20 for one day and BGN 30 for the two-day event if accompanied by an adult. Tickets include fares from and to Bansko to the finish line in the Banderitsa Ski Run. Tickets for the World Cup event will be also available at special desks at the Strazhite Hotel in Bansko and the first ski lift station.

Ticket sales for both events were a necessary condition set by the International Ski Federation. The World Cup preparations have involved some 1000 of staff to take care of the Banderitsa slope maintenance, hotel accommodation for competitors, journalists, and visitors from all over the world as well as the cultural event agenda of the town. The World Cup support staff are to be further reinforced by 100 volunteers from Bulgaria, Greece and Great Britain.

"Spectators who did not get the chance to buy a ticket but are willing to watch the event live can do so in the ticket-free areas around the ski run," said Mr. Valentin Stefanov, manager of the Bansko World Cup event.
Apart from the major sponsors of the events, financial and logistic support will be also provided by the Ministry of Physical Education and Sport, Bansko town council, Ulen AD, Balkan Holidays, the Kempinski Grand Arena Hotel – Bansko, Maxsport and Balkanstroy AD.
