 Legends of the World Ski opened today at the track "Alberto Tomba" in Bansko the new ski season.
On the track with artificial snow over "Bunderishka polyana" rushed Marc Ghirardelli, Peter Popangelov, Andreas Wenzel, Maria Walliser, Joseph Straub, Leonard Stock, Luc Alphand, Michael von Grueningen.
Despite the lack of snow, organizers had taken care to cover the track with artificial snow by the cannons working day and night.
Besides ski legends, the ceremony was attended by Hristo Stoichkov, who is honorary citizen of Bansko, and the mayor Alexander Kravarov.
 After the demonstration downhill skiing ski legends were awarded an honorary of the built especially for the event scene. Celebration continued with lots of music and with the attendance of Deo, dancing children's ensemble, the stars Rumanetsa and Enchev.
The celebration in the city will continue until late with a ceremony in the central town square where will be served the prize "Bansko - winter capital of the Balkans ". There will be also fireworks, show "Pirin Sings and Dances" and the late hours of the celebration will end in the bar "Happy End" located next to the Gondola.
