Borovets resort offers excellent conditions for winter sports: Alpine skiing, Biathlon, cross-country skiing and snowboard. Marked ski slopes with a total length of 58 km. and the thickness of the snow is over 1.5 meters from November to May.
Routes for cross-country skiing with a maximum length of 35 kilometers, designed in accordance with International Ski Federation, with a minimum width of 6 meters in areas "Shiroka Poliana" and "varnika" with lengths of routes, respectively 3.5 km and 10 km.
All ski slopes are marked with signs in different languages and are kept in perfect condition. They are of varying difficulty, suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. Since the beginning of the 2002/2003 season in the resort have created conditions for night driving. 17 to 22 hours each day are highlighted second and third runs of 4-seat lift "Martinovi baraki". In these hours work ski lifts 2 and 3 of the same tracks. Snow cover is delivered by additionals snow cannons.

Ski Center Yastrebetz - from 1340 m - 2369 m altitude.
Ski center Sitnyakovo - from 1337 m - 1780 m altitude
"Musalenska pateka" - this is the easiest way for a ski descent by Markudjik to Central Borovets ski center. Starts under peak "Musala" and come to the center of the resort and has a total length of about 12 km.
